Smocking in clothing was developed around the nineteenth century, because of the need for comfort and freedom of movement. It has been passed down through the centuries as a statement of fashion as well. It is a favorite of moms everywhere for the same reasons: comfort for active little babies, ease of fit for growing bodies, and timeless fashion. Time tested and mother approved, smocked clothes are a must-have for little ones!



We use 2 measurements to determine the sizes for our smocked bishop dresses. Neck size is the measurement around the neck with the button fastened. The length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem. Sizes NB, 3, 6, 9 and 12 Mo comes with panties. Larger sizes do not. These are approximate measurements.
